The next morning we left Goldendale to travel along the Columbia River Gorge... We crossed at the Merryhill State Park and found a small breakfast place called Johnny's...
We stopped into the Dalles to visit the dam, shipping locks along with the salmon ladder and visitor center there...
Traveling along the scenic route, I finally used up all the storage I carrying for my digital camera... What a loss because the waterfalls along hwy #30 are really special... Lunch later at one of the waterfalls was very nice...
After leaving the Columbia River going South, we had to put on our rain gear for a short time when passing Mt Hood... We spent the night just outside of Bend...
Dinner was a short walk across the street to Ruby';s where our assigned waitress was "in training" and needed a lot of practice/training/help...
