When we stopped for gas in Montana, the pick up of some Indians filling up in front of me contained a whole elk or cow that was recently skinned and butchered in the field... There was still grass and dirt on the meat..

For breakfast, we stopped just over the border in Canada...

The route included a look on the Cananaskis hwy (#40), that took us through some spectacular mountain views to the last check point... The following pictures simply do not express the size and grandeurs...

Ron and John went off by themselves for dinner while I had my meal in the Hotel with Bill H. and Jacques... This included several free glasses of wine (gratis from the hotel as part of the stay and would have cost us $68)... The meal was expensive but very good...

_____________________________ When we arrived in Calgary, the first thing we did was to gas up... We did this at the Shell right across from the Olympic Stadium and the Ski Jumps... _____________________________
