Up early to travel about 77 miles before breakfast in Jackson WY... Saw a large Elk, dead on the side of the road…
During breakfast, we had an obstreperous waitress explain why the city is called Jackson Hole... It's because a hole is a geological formation of mountains surrounding an area... Good breakfast though...
Lots of flat traveling after breakfast...
Made the checkpoint in Missoula and continued on another 50 miles to spend the night in Kalispell...
Jacques and Bill H. went off to have dinner while Ron, Bill V. and John had pizza from the next door gas station...
Finally connected with my friend Flavia... She was spending the night in Missoula and would try to meet up in the morning...
