There were a couple of corrections to the November minutes.  Dal Keil was not in attendance for the meeting and Steve Sandow was.  Also,  the date for the Xmas party is Dec 16.  These corrections were promised to be fixed by the club secretary after which the November minutes were voted on and accepted.

Day Ride
 

The ride for November was canceled: and there was no replacement

Dinner

Destination: Woods Ranch  -  Valencia

Attending:    Jim & Jackie Warren,  Dal & Gwenn,  Marlene & Fred & Michael,  Bill & Barbara,  Ray and Susan,  Robert & Carolyn

As has been for this location the event was a success with all having a jovial evening.  After dinner several members rejoined at Dal & Gwenns for dessert and coffee and to watch Bill help Gwenn with her computer connection to the internet.

Yearly Dues

It is again time to pay dues for 2008.  Members are responsible for the $24.00 and Friends pony up just half that at $12.00.

Christmas

Party

The date and location chosen is Robert & Carolyn's on December 16 at 2:00pm.  Carolyn will arrange for dinner and if you want you can bring dessert.  Scheduled (Jackie | Salad), (Carolyn | Lasagna),  (Gwenn | Cake),  (Marlene | Garlic Bread, Pie, Relish Tray),  (Bill | Sweet Potato Pie).   The traditional Christmas gifting will be held after dinner and should be held to about $20.  As an additional gifting this year,  the club plans to have a drawing for some small gifts such as bottles of wine,  gift certificates to local restaurants,  etc...   Actual gifts to be determined later...

2008

Ride Schedule Meeting

The date and location chosen is Robert & Carolyn's on Sunday,  January 13, 2008.  Activities begin at 12:00 Noon with pizza etc.,  followed by the meeting...   A reminder is that we voted to schedule the entire year's rides and dinners at this meeting so please come with lots of suggestions...

Rides to consider.....

1. Day Ride  -  Any local destination that we can comfortably ride to and be home at a reasonable time within one day.

2. Overnight ride  -  Any destination that will last more than one day.  Traditionally these are about three days long but are not restricted to that.

3. Dinner's  -  Any local restaurant that can be ridden to for a weekend evening get together of the club members and friends.

4. Special Events  -  These include conventions,  other club events,  car and motorcycle show's,  etc...

A quorum of 8 members voted.  The results are as follows  (Secretary  -  Bill Vest   8 votes),  (Sgt at Arms - Richard Bowers   8 votes),  (Historian  -  Fred Mehr   8 votes),  (Vice President - Jackie Warren   8 votes),  (President - Marlene Mehr 1 vote  -   Robert Emmons   7 votes).
